Light Guide Film (LGF), also known as LGP (Light Guide Plate), is characterized by its ultra-thin profile, uniform illumination, and versatile color display. It is primarily used in mobile phone keypads, serving as a product that converts the point light source of LEDs into a surface light source through colored LGF. LGF is applied onto existing double-layer or EMI structure conductive films to achieve optimal light distribution.


The working principle of LGF involves utilizing the principles of light reflection and refraction, combined with specialized optical software design. Microstructure processing is applied to the optical fiber film, enlarging the "point light source" into a "surface light source." Light beams propagate from the medium at suitable angles and densities, resulting in excellent uniform illumination.


The design of LGF conductive film/LGP can reduce the need for several LED lights, addressing issues such as uneven brightness distribution, high power consumption, large space occupancy, and high costs.
